The City of Stockton is in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley, just 90 miles east of San Francisco, and offers a plentitude of cultural and recreational opportunities. The San Joaquin International Film Festival provides films and educational programs, and a variety of other cultural, educational and agricultural festivals are held throughout the year.
